Description
As a Phone Operator, you will:
- Effectively communicate in English & French (spoken and written)
- Answer incoming calls in a friendly and professional manner and assist or direct accordingly
- Provide accurate information to guests pertaining to hotel and city surroundings such as amenities, services, city attractions, driving directions, transportation services, etc...
- Communicate with guests using internal messaging platform in a timely manner
- Follow security procedures regarding guest privacy, room keys, masters, etc…
- Perform various reservation tasks including preparing bookings, responding to reservation inquires, assigning rooms, monitoring group pick-up, preparing keys, setting up billing, etc…
- Promotes guest loyalty program
- Maintains a tidy & organized work space
- Communicate, coordinate and document service requests between guests and appropriate departments
- Resolve guest inquires and complaints
- Update hotel record keeping information
- Program wake-up calls for guests upon request
- Assign internal mail to appropriate people
- Assist Front Office team as required
- Must be available to work a variety of shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
