The Opportunity 

Delaware North Global Headquarters is hiring a Senior Customer Insights Analyst to join our Marketing team in Buffalo, New York. As a Senior Customer Insights Analyst you will be specializing in Persona and Segmentation research, your core mission will be to cultivate deep, nuanced insights into our diverse customer segments across various subsidiaries, including Gaming, Patina Restaurant Group, Parks & Resorts, Sportservice, and Travel. By spearheading segmentation and persona development initiatives, you will identify the distinct needs, preferences, and behaviors of our customer groups, providing a foundation to shape strategic decision-making across the enterprise.

Pay

Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $68300 - $92200 / year

In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. The advertised pay range represents what we believe at the time of this job posting, that we would be willing to pay for this position. Only in special circumstances, where a candidate has education, training, or experience that far exceeds the requirements for the position, would we consider paying higher than the stated range. Responsibilities 

  • Lead persona and segmentation initiatives for diverse customer segments across Gaming, Patina Restaurant Group, Parks & Resorts, Sportservice, and Travel subsidiaries.
  • Design and execute comprehensive persona research to uncover customer motivations, pain points, and aspirations; ensuring these personas are actionable and resonate across the business.
  • Enhance understanding of the customer landscape through expert segmentation analysis, enabling targeted strategies.
  • Advocate for customer-centric decision-making by integrating persona insights into all aspects of business strategy.
  • Collaborate with customer-facing teams to embed segmentation insights into marketing, development, and customer experience strategies.
  • Drive exceptional, personalized customer experiences across all touchpoints by championing customer understanding.

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree. 
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in market research or customer insights, showing progression in responsibility and expertise.
  • Demonstrated maturity of judgment and confidence-inspiring presence.
  • Strong relationship-building and influencing skills with exemplary integrity and a positive attitude.
  • Organized, thorough work approach; adept at handling pressure and heavy workloads.
  • Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders, manage competing priorities, and communicate complex information effectively.
