Compensation: $20.00, Full-Time

Position Summary:

Under the direction of the Marketing Manager, the Player’s Club Coordinator oversees the daily operations of the Player’s Club, and staff within established guidelines and procedure.

Note: Native American preference will be given.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for achieving player development goals.
  • Ability to write reports and correspondence, including direct mail projects.      
  • Ability to communicate effectively in the English language, both verbally and in writing with staff and the general public.
  • Ability to apply basic mathematical skills.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written and oral form.
  • Oversee Player’s Club and staff personnel within established guidelines and procedures. 
  • Respond to customer complaints and customer service needs.
  • Write policy and procedures as they apply to the Player’s Club.
  • Review policy and procedures for promotion, slot tournaments and other special events and communicate the club functions necessary to implement these policies and procedures. 
  • Monitor Player’s Club personnel for accuracy and proficiency in their work.
  • Manage customer-ticketing services for Player’s Club performances and other special events.
  • Train Player’s Club personnel on Oasis Super Playmate
  • Set up Oasis Super Playmate groups and apply PBT.
  • Set up Super Playmate tiered rewards and extract data from these programs for analyzing the success of the marketing promotions.
  • Order, track and inventory merchandise for club promotions.
  • Assist in the creative display of all merchandise items, promotional displays and casino decorations.
  • Work with the Director of Marketing and Marketing Manager to design and implement promotions, special events, projects, slot tournaments and other marketing programs. 
  • Provide support as needed to casino promotions both on-site and off-site.
  • Assist with any paperwork needed for audit, gaming or cage for promotional payout, drawings and special events. 
  • Organize and administer the overall reservations and services for tour busses in the casino and Player’s Club.   
  • Perform other duties as assigned or pertaining to the job.

Supervisory Responsibilities: 

The Player’s Club Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the Player’s Club Representatives in the marketing department, ensuring alignment with departmental and organizational objectives. The Player’s Club Coordinator provides guidance and assistance in addressing unusual situations that may arise, particularly those without clear precedents or requiring interpretation of policies and regulations.

Experience and Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Administration and/or three years’ experience in marketing and promotions field in the gaming industry or equivalent experience of combination and experience.
  • Must be proficient with Windows operating system 
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office. 
  • Bilingual preferred.
  • Prefer experience with Aristocrat, Micros POS and Tickets.com ticketing.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of modern office practices, procedures, and equipment.
  • Knowledge of business English, proper spelling, grammar, punctuation, and basic arithmetic.
  • Knowledge of principles and practices of public relations, promotions, and marketing in a customer service oriented environment.
  • Skill in operating business computers and office machines in marketing operations, including in a Windows environment, specifically Word, Excel, Access, and presentation software (such as PowerPoint).
  • Must be able to work all shifts and weekends.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Must be able to successfully obtain and maintain a Gaming License from the Pueblo of Tesuque Gaming Commission.
Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to stand for prolonged periods of time.  The employee will use hands and fingers to handle or feel various items, conduct repetitious movements and tasks such as operating a computer keyboard, mouse and other computer components, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl. The employee will be required to talk for extended periods and be able to listen and understand. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to twenty-five (25) pounds. Specific vision abilities require close vision, distance vision and color vision.

Work Environment:

Work is generally performed in a casino setting with exposure to second-hand smoke and a high noise level. Due to the nature and scope of this position, evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours and irregular shifts will be required.
