Event Sales Manager

The Opportunity 

Delaware North’s Patina Restaurant Group is searching for a Catering Sales Manager to join our team at Morimoto Asia in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. As a Catering Sales Manager, you will be part of the team to develop and execute upon a strategic sales plan to maximize revenues across our portfolio to include Morimoto Asia, The Edison, Maria & Enzo's and Enzo's Hideaway.

Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $46100 - $62200 / year

In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. The advertised pay range represents what we believe at the time of this job posting, that we would be willing to pay for this position. Only in special circumstances, where a candidate has education, training, or experience that far exceeds the requirements for the position, would we consider paying higher than the stated range. Responsibilities 

• Partner with leaders, clients, and catering staff to plan and execute exceptional events that meet guests’ requirements
• Attract new wedding and social accounts, meet with new and existing clients, provide tours of facilities, review event details, and produce event contracts
• Handle guest relations pre and post-event ensuring quality assurance standards are exceeded throughout the client journey
• Participate in industry-related events such as bridal fairs and other local and regional events
• Develop quarterly action plans highlighting how you leverage your markets in order to achieve the property’s financial plans

Qualifications 

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a hotel, catering, or hospitality company ideally in operations 
• Experience with events, sales, and marketing practices
• Strong desire for customer care and exceeding guest expectations
• Demonstrate initiative, leadership, and team-building skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• No degree required
