None Duties/Responsibilities
- Performs cleaning, housekeeping, and light maintenance tasks and services as assigned throughout the property.
- Maintains key control and security of non-guest areas constantly.
- Picks up trash, empties interior and exterior trash receptacles, as well as ash collection containers placed around the property.
- Performs light repairs such as replacing light bulbs and unclogging pipes.
- Responds to guest requests.
- Assists with the cleaning and sanitizing of shared facilities such as business center, fitness room, and common spaces.
- Washes windows, vacuums floor and rugs, cleans furniture and window treatments.
- Responds to guest requests.
- Pulls linens, terry, and trash for Room Attendants, and restocks housekeeping carts as needed.
- Maintains outside grounds and pet area as assigned.
- Examines property for safety hazards and reports all problems to the Facilities Manager or other appropriate staff.
- Keeps dumpster area clean and well maintained.
- Maintains cribs, pack & plays, and roll-away beds.
- Sets up and breaks down meeting room, including proper placement of chairs, tables, and linen, all according to instructions.
- Ensures that cleaning supplies are well stocked.
- Maintains, cleans, and organizes storage areas.
- Brings any equipment issues to the Facilities Manager immediately.
- Participates in special projects as required.
- Maintains communication with Front Desk and Housekeeping.
- Follows all OSHA/HAZCOM procedure.
- Wears appropriate brand required uniform and name tag during all scheduled shifts.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Thorough understanding of safety hazards and proper use of various cleaning and sanitizing solutions.
- Detail oriented and thorough.
- Ability to perform basic repairs and operate tools or equipment used in routine maintenance.
- Ability to keep property clean and orderly.
- Exhibit good interpersonal skills with polite and courteous demeanor toward staff, guests, vendors, and visitors to the property.
Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required.Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods standing and walking, and frequently pulling, pushing, and bending.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds at a time.
