Spa Attendant

General Purpose:

Primary responsibility is to assist guests and maintain cleanliness in the locker rooms, Fitness center, waiting room and linen room. Also promote spa services, to maintain linen levels and to restock amenities. This position will fulfill guests’ requests for service courteously and efficiently.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform job functions with minimal supervision, focusing attention on guests’ needs, remaining calm and courteous

Maintain complete knowledge of:

Hours of operations and activities of hotel

Spa services and products

Scheduled daily group activities

proper cleaning techniques, requirements, and use of equipment and proper chemical handling

Comply with, spa and departmental policies and procedures

Promote positive relations with all individuals who approach the fitness and locker areas; greet each guest warmly and provide a courteous good-bye

Accommodate all guests’ requests expediently and courteously

Handle guest complaints by following hotel procedures and ensuring guest satisfaction

Successfully complete the training process

Ensure that all supplies/amenities are available to guests (towels, face cloths, bath mats, robes, shower caps, slippers, shampoo, bath gel, moisturizer, conditioner, deodorant, mouth wash, shaving cream, razors, hair spray, hair dryers, brushes, combs, etc.)

Ensure the placement of dirty or used items in the proper containers

Maintain locker, changing and/or waiting areas, ensuring they are clean and properly stocked at all times

Assist with the laundry duties such as loading washer, dryer, folding and or ironing 

Responsible for maintaining equipment and storage areas in linen closet, fitness & locker facilities

Notify management of all maintenance needs

Attend all required meetings and training sessions

Assist other departments when needed

Perform any task deemed necessary by management
