We are hiring a General Manager for our Brand New Hotel, The Element Austin, in Austin, Texas. Our Element Austin North Tech Ridge Parmer, is a 123-room hotel designed for long-term stays. Become part of the vibrant Tech Ridge neighborhood in Austin, known as "Silicon Hill," home to major companies like Amazon, Apple, Google, SpaceX, and Tesla. Our hotel is situated near a multifamily development and The Shops at Tech Ridge, offering a convenient and dynamic location. Element Hotel by Marriott provides guests with eco-friendly, wellness-focused amenities, including a well-equipped fitness center and outdoor pool.

The Ideal Candidate

• Organized, detailed oriented and able to lead a winning team of passionate and service driven hospitality professionals.
• Strong sales background, established networking skills and revenue management skills.
• Proven ability to drive GSS.
• Effective in hiring, mentoring and leading a team toward outstanding results.
• Able to deliver outstanding financial results.
• Prior hotel opening experience desirable.
• Marriott experience preferred.
• F&B background
• Prior GM experience required.

As a General Manager, you will be instrumental in hiring, motivating and rewarding a winning management team supporting our company’s mission statement and embracing our cornerstones. You will be the liaison with the hotel brand, our owners and with Concord in facilitating a successful business operation through the orchestration of brand training, operational deadlines, providing attention to detail in ordering of supplies and following budget guidelines, as well as networking with city officials as the “face” of this exciting and upscale hotel.
