A Barista engages our guests during their visit, takes/serves orders and ensures brand service standards are met with the highest quality.

What will I be doing?

A Barista will be responsible for engaging our guests during their visit, receiving/serving orders and ensuring brand service standards are met to the highest quality. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Receive orders and serve customer requests completely in a timely manner
• Deliver the drinks menu to customers and answer their questions regarding ingredients.
• Take orders paying attention to details (e.g. coffee blend preferences, amount of milk and sugar)
• Serve drinks and prepared food that is available at the bar
• Receive and process payments (cash and credit cards)
• Keep the bar area clean
• Keep plates and cups clean
• Check if coffee machines are working properly and report any maintenance needs
• Comply with health and safety regulations

• Previous experience as a barista or waiter/waitress
• Hands-on experience with coffee machines
• Basic math skills
• Exceptional personal presentation and communication skills
• Flexibility to respond quickly and positively to a range of work situations
• Passion for delivering exceptional levels of guest service
