Job Description:

Working directly with property managers, train, educate, and monitor labour scheduling in all departments to optimise for maximum service at minimum cost. Ensure that daily cash drops, revenue, outlet covers, and entertainments are accurately and promptly recorded in the property books. Ensure daily/weekly/monthly reports are prepared and submitted timely and accurately. 

What will I be doing?

  • Analyse Labour Management programs and measure against corporate benchmarks as well as industry standards.
  • Devises, communicates and executes strategies and directions for Property Management, evaluating efforts to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of the property’s labour management.
  • Implements plans for identified labour standardisation opportunities in concert with operations managers.
  • Develop execution plan to implement long term goals for the Property that become the basis for short term goals and annual operational planning. 
  • Develops the appropriate objectives for each department’s labour and directs the methodologies by which those objectives are going to be accomplished.  Objectives synchronised with Budget and Forecast processes.
  • Establishes procedures and processes in relation to Labour Management. 

What are we looking for?

  • Tertiary qualifications, or other collegiate-level degree, in Hospitality or related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years in supervisory, management or finance role.
  • Strong administration and communication skills.
  • Proficiency, at an advanced level, with computers and computer programs, including Microsoft programs (Excel and Word).
  • Demonstrated attention to detail, while multi-tasking and delivering work on time.
  • Ability to work productively despite multiple interruptions.
  • Demonstrated trust and integrity in dealing with cash, payments and financial reporting.
  • Demonstrates positive involvement and interaction with the overall Hilton team both at an individual, team & management level.
  • A passion and enthusiasm to be part of a winning team.
  • Provides consistent and professional support to all team members.
  • Creates an environment of learning, enjoyment and involvement.
  • Maintain a high customer service focus.
  • Be flexible, responding quickly and positively to changing requirements including the performance of any tasks requested of you.
  • Maintain high team focus by showing co-operation and support to colleagues in the pursuit of team goals.
  • Contribute ideas and suggestions to enhance operational/environmental procedures in the Hotel.
