Roles & Responsibilities:

• Invoice Approval: Ensure accurate coding between the restaurant and hotel as you review and approve invoices.
• Expense Report Management: Uphold company policies as you review and approve employee expense reports.
• Payroll: Oversee HR processes, including payroll management and time card approvals in collaboration with the General Manager.
• Tip Coordination: Collaborate with management to determine fair and efficient tip distribution methods.
• Time Penalty & Meal Break Management: Address and resolve time penalty and meal break issues with the General Manager.
• Owner Relations: Engage in regular communication sessions with property owners to address any financial concerns.
• Financial Oversight & Reporting: Provide comprehensive financial management for both hotel and restaurant units.
• Night Audit Reports: Review hotel night audit reports to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Bank Reconciliations: Perform house bank reconciliations to maintain financial integrity.
• Approval System Implementation: Develop and launch an approval system for checks and balances within the businesses.
• Strategic Financial Advice: Contribute to business strategy discussions to optimize performance and profitability.
• Cost-saving Measures: Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement effective solutions.
• Business Unit Splits: Ensure accurate financial splits between the hotel and restaurant units.
• Sales & Labor Reports: Generate insightful summaries from weekly sales and labor reports to inform decision-making.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry is a plus.
• Strong understanding of financial principles and accounting practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
