Position Overview
The Dishwasher plays a vital role in keeping our kitchen running smoothly. You’ll be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, supporting kitchen staff, and helping ensure service runs efficiently. This is a great entry-level position for someone interested in the restaurant industry and ready to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, glassware, pots, and pans.
- Keep dishwashing area organized, clean, and safe at all times.
- Take out trash and recycling; maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors and surfaces.
- Assist with basic kitchen prep or cleaning tasks as needed.
- Properly store clean dishes and communicate with chefs/line cooks during service.
- Follow health and safety guidelines, including proper chemical use and sanitation standards.
Requirements (Must Meet All to Be Considered)
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Legally eligible to work in the United States.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working in a hot, fast-paced environment.
- Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and team-player mentality.
Preferred (But Not Required)
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or commercial dishwasher role.
- Familiarity with commercial dishwashers and kitchen cleaning procedures.
- Interest in learning more about kitchen operations or growing into prep/line cook roles.
