Position Summary

The Cluster Marketing Manager is responsible for leading the strategic marketing vision, execution, and performance optimization across a diverse portfolio of 6 hotels located across Canada. This role develops and drives integrated marketing strategies that strengthen brand positioning, increase awareness, and deliver measurable revenue growth across multiple markets. The Cluster Marketing Manager acts as a key commercial leader, collaborating closely with property General Managers, Regional Leadership, Revenue Management, and Ownership to align marketing initiatives with overarching business objectives and profitability targets.

This role can be based anywhere within Canada and has an expected salary range of 95-115K annually.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Define and refine brand identity, tone, and positioning for each property, ensuring distinct yet cohesive representation across all guest touchpoints—digital, print, and on-property.
  • Develop and oversee annual marketing plans and property-specific calendars aligned with revenue goals, ownership expectations, and market demand trends.
  • Lead the annual marketing budgeting process, ensuring investment aligns with commercial strategy, forecasted ROI, and business objectives.
  • Represent the portfolio in ownership and executive meetings, providing strategic recommendations and actionable insights to optimize topline performance.
  • Conceptualize and deploy collection-wide campaigns and marketing initiatives initiatives across digital channels, including paid search, social and email.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and coaching to on-property marketing and sales teams, fostering collaboration and alignment with company-wide objectives.
  • Monitor competitor activity, industry trends, and market performance to proactively adapt strategy and maintain competitive positioning.
  • Oversee PR, influencer, and partnership strategies to elevate brand awareness and strengthen destination positioning.

Marketing Execution

  • Oversee campaign deployment across email, paid media, social, and organic channels; ensure timely execution and brand consistency.
  • Collaborate with Revenue Management to develop targeted promotions, group offers, and leisure packages that respond to demand drivers and guest insights.
  • Direct paid media strategy including budget management, channel selection, and campaign performance tracking.
  • Identify asset gaps and direct photography and content production to enhance brand storytelling and visual identity.
  • Lead social media strategy across all brands, managing internal and external contributors to ensure consistent tone, engagement, and community growth.
  • Guide website, booking engine, and digital platform content to maintain guest-centric messaging and conversion optimization.
  • Oversee design and production of marketing collateral, ensuring all materials meet brand standards and business objectives.
  • Collaborate with property teams to conceptualize and activate on-property experiences, events, and partnerships that enhance brand presence.
  • Coordinate media visits and influencer partnerships to ensure strategic coverage and maximize earned media value.

Performance & Reporting

  • Analyze marketing campaign performance and provide monthly and quarterly reporting with actionable insights, ROI measurement, and recommendations for optimization.
  • Present portfolio and property-level results to ownership and senior leadership, translating marketing performance into commercial impact.
  • Oversee STR, digital channel, and campaign analytics to identify growth opportunities and performance gaps.
  • Maintain continuous performance improvement through testing, measurement, and data-driven decision-making.
