Job Summary:

Our ideal candidate will help to achieve our mission to bring expertly crafted baked and brewed goods to our guests through a warm and welcoming bakery café experience that delivers joy to everyone.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Fry donuts, place toppings, and decorate on the needed pastries and bread.
  • Executing day-to-day kitchen operations and production
  • General Oven Duties: Baking, checking dough conditioner, and preparing all desserts to Brand Standards.
  • Prepare all needed materials, ingredients, catering, and production numbers accurately to Brand Standards.
  • Responsible for scaling and shaping of all breads, loaves, and pastries.
  • Sanitization procedures, maintaining overall cleanliness of workstation and kitchen.
  • General knowledge of production methods and organization of bread production.
  • Must be able to prioritize and finish all daily tasks assigned.
  • Receive and organize deliveries in designated containers and storage areas.
  • Inform supervisors when equipment is not working properly and manage when food supplies are getting low.
  • Complete various reports for records such as production, usage, and waste.
  • Adhere to Food Safety Policies and ensure proper labeling of all containers storing food or chemicals.
  • Support coworkers in training initiatives.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Education/Experience:

  • Minimum of one year of food handling/store experience, Paris Baguette experience preferred.
  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • Illinois Food Certification, or the ability to become certified.
