Location: Waterfront Pool at Horseshoe Bay Resort, Lake LBJ

Position Type: Seasonal / Full-Time and Part-Time

Compensation: $6.50/hour + Tips

Position Overview

Horseshoe Bay Resort is seeking high-energy, hospitality-driven professionals to join our team for the upcoming season at our brand-new Waterfront Pool. As a Poolside and Lakeside Server, you will act as a primary ambassador for the guest experience, providing world-class service in a luxury outdoor environment. We are looking for individuals who thrive in fast-paced settings and are committed to maintaining the highest standards of Texas hospitality.

Tentative Start Date: Mid-February

Key Responsibilities

Guest Engagement: Provide exceptional service by greeting guests warmly and attending to their needs throughout their visit.

Service Excellence: Take accurate food and beverage orders and deliver them efficiently to ensure a seamless dining experience.

Product Knowledge: Maintain a comprehensive understanding of food, wine, and cocktail menus to provide informed recommendations and descriptions.

Operational Support: Attend daily pre-shift meetings, assist with clearing and resetting tables, and communicate special dietary requests to the culinary team.

Venue Maintenance: Follow rigorous set-up and breakdown checklists to ensure the pool and lakeside areas remain guest-ready and visually impeccable.

Qualifications

Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages.

Certifications: TABC and Food Handler (ServSafe) certifications are preferred.

Experience: Prior serving experience, particularly in a resort or high-volume outdoor setting, is highly valued.

Communication: Strong verbal communication skills in English and the ability to resolve guest concerns with professionalism.

Physical Demands: Ability to work in an outdoor environment for extended periods; must be able to lift or move up to 50 lbs.

Professionalism: Commitment to impeccable grooming standards and adherence to uniform requirements, including slip-resistant footwear.
