The opportunity

Delaware North Sportservice is currently seeking a Food and Beverage Manager to join our team at Key Bank Center in Buffalo, NY. In this pivotal leadership position, you will collaborate closely with the General Manager to drive strategic initiatives that enhance the guest experience within one of the nation’s leading sports and entertainment venues.

We are searching for an accomplished hospitality professional with extensive experience in premium services, outstanding attention to detail, and a demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing teams. This role offers a unique opportunity for an individual who excels in fast-paced environments, values ongoing training and development, and is committed to providing exceptional service.

Pay

Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $60,406 – $74,600 / year

In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. The advertised pay range represents what we believe at the time of this job posting, that we would be willing to pay for this position. Only in special circumstances, where a candidate has education, training, or experience that far exceeds the requirements for the position, would we consider paying higher than the stated range. What will you do?

  • Direct oversight of all premium departments
  • Contribute to business growth and profitability by effectively managing daily food and beverage operations, ensuring consistent adherence to quality, safety, and sanitation standards
  • Develop and uphold a service-oriented management philosophy guiding all team members
  • Responsible for team member scheduling, training, and professional development
  • Maintain policy standards and foster a culture of accountability and responsibility
  • Research, develop, and implement new policies and procedures that elevate service standards
  • Address client requests and ensure compliance with company standards
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef, Restaurant Manager, and other stakeholders on menu planning and design; manage ordering and inventory processes; support cost control initiatives for labor and waste

  • Minimum five years of experience in a high-volume environment
  • Comprehensive food knowledge across diverse menus and proven supervisory experience
  • Demonstrated leadership and commitment to guest service
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly adaptable, with effective time management skills for self and others
