About the Property
Residence Inn Cary Raleigh is a brand-new, all-suite Marriott extended-stay hotel located in Cary, NC. As part of the opening team, you’ll help shape the guest experience, culture, and reputation of this flagship property from day one.
Position Overview
The Front Desk Supervisor supports the Guest Service Manager in leading day-to-day front office operations. This role combines hands-on guest service with shift leadership, coaching front desk associates, and ensuring that every arrival, stay, and departure reflects Marriott’s service standards and RevPAR Companies’ internal client culture.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the on-duty supervisor for the Front Desk during assigned shifts
Support, train, and coach front desk associates in service standards, systems, and procedures
Lead by example in delivering warm, authentic guest service and effective service recovery
Oversee check-in/check-out, reservations, payment processing, and cash handling accuracy
Ensure lobby and front desk areas are clean, organized, and guest-ready at all times
Communicate effectively with Housekeeping, Engineering, Sales, and Leadership teams
Assist with scheduling, task assignments, and new-hire training
Support Marriott Guest Voice, online reviews, and overall guest satisfaction goals
Assist with PM bar and lobby F&B offerings as needed
Adhere to all safety, security, and key control procedures
Qualifications
Previous hotel front desk or guest service experience required; prior supervisor/shift lead experience strongly preferred
Strong communication and customer service skills
Comfortable using hotel PMS and related systems (Marriott experience a plus)
Able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Professional, reliable, and calm under pressure
