Pay: $15–$18 per hour

Status: Full-Time

Schedule: Primarily daytime with weekend/holiday rotation Start Date January 2nd 2026

Overview

The Preventative Maintenance Technician plays a key role in maintaining safety, reliability, and guestroom functionality.

• Perform preventive maintenance tasks in guestrooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas

• Complete guestroom PMs including HVAC filter changes, caulking, minor repairs, fixture checks, and appliance functionality tests

• Respond to work orders and guest requests efficiently

• Log all work within the hotels tracking system GXP.

• Support completion of brand-required maintenance programs and logs

• Assist with maintaining mechanical rooms and equipment areas

• Ensure safe and compliant use of tools, chemicals, and equipment

• Identify and report major maintenance needs to Engineering leadership

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of shop, storage, and maintenance areas

Qualifications

• Prior hotel or apartment maintenance experience preferred

• Basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general repairs

• Ability to work independently and complete tasks thoroughly

• Strong attention to detail and safety

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work on feet for extended periods
