Role Responsibilities:
- Represent the hotel’s services and facilities to prospective clients with confidence and professionalism.
- Proactively generate revenue through strategic sales planning, cold calling, and targeted client outreach.
- Build, maintain, and nurture strong client relationships while ensuring exceptional guest service.
- Track, report, and analyze sales performance to drive results and optimize strategies.
Requirements for Success:
- Proven track record of at least 5 years in sales or account management, with strong negotiation and closing skills. Hotel experience is a plus, but not required.
- Highly skilled in prospecting, cold calling, and closing new business; comfortable with client outreach and follow-up.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to protect the property’s interests while maintaining client goodwill.
- Self-motivated, energetic, and enthusiastic; able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other sales-related software; able to produce reports and track sales performance accurately.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to present ideas and information clearly and professionally.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize conflicting tasks, manage a personal workload, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional appearance and demeanor; demonstrates confidence, integrity, and enthusiasm.
- Able to follow sales plans, marketing action items, and departmental SOPs.
- Maintain high visibility in the community, including local CVB and professional organizations.
- Knowledge of the competitive landscape and operational capabilities of the property.
- Ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships, build customer loyalty, and work effectively as part of a team.
- Experience managing group sales, resolving conflicts, and collaborating with internal teams.
