The opportunity

Delaware North Sportservice is searching for a Director of Hospitality to join our team at Miami Freedom Park in Miami, Florida. As a Director of Hospitality, you will be a food and beverage operations leader responsible for training and developing your team, managing people, processes, budgets, and expenses effectively, and delivering quality service to guests.

Pay

Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $81,900 – $110,600 / year

In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. The advertised pay range represents what we believe at the time of this job posting, that we would be willing to pay for this position. Only in special circumstances, where a candidate has education, training, or experience that far exceeds the requirements for the position, would we consider paying higher than the stated range. What will you do?

  • Assist in establishing and implementing current and long-term objectives, plans and policies, and budget
  • Build and maintain healthy relationships with license partners and maintain positive guest relations, ensuring enjoyable and memorable experiences
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of unit management and oversee the supervision of team members, and ensure company policy and procedures are followed
  • Oversee the recommendation and creation of prices and portions for products and services within the approved profit plan
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations regarding liquor, sanitation, payroll, and employment

More about you

  • A Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, hotel management, business, or related field,  or equivalent experience
  • Minimum four years’ experience in food & beverage, hospitality, or similar management role
  • Entrepreneurial skills and skills in financial management and budgeting
  • Ability to coach and mentor a diverse workforce, working independently and as part of a team
  • Organizational and time management skills, as well as written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proven experience in providing excellent customer service
