What You’ll Do
  • Exemplifies MCR’s values and set a great example by always demonstrating excellent guest service and professionalism.
  • Create designs and campaigns for multiple departments to promote all events, amenities, and entertainment for the Casino.
  • Design campaigns that consider the cognitive, cultural, physical, and social factors in planning and executing designs for the target audience.
  • Research, concept and develop creative work that delivers on the vision, follows brand standards, and ensures the highest quality of standards are met and maintained.
  • Install and maintain creative assets.
  • Maintain a consistent look and tone across all branded communications.
  • Create and prepare final files that ensure a high-quality outcome within time and budget constraints
  • Prepare final files for production and coordinate with printers and other vendors.
  • Stay abreast of current industry norms and trends.
  • Maintain clean and organized files and archives of images, photos, campaigns, and other assets.
  • Manage timelines, deadlines, and budget/cost estimates.
  • Attend, participate and work events and functions as needed.
  • Creates, maintains, and facilitates a positive and safe work environment; promotes positive team member relations and reports issues to the appropriate personnel.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
What You’ll Bring
  • AA or AAS Degree from an accredited college in Graphic Design, Fine Arts or equivalent required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • 3 (three) years of experience in graphic design and production required.
  • In-house and/or agency experience preferred.
  • Basic photography experience and proficiency with photo-editing software preferred.
  • Previous marketing experience preferred.
  • Copy writing and editing skills and experience preferred.
  • Experience with project management systems a plus.
  • A portfolio of work demonstrates strong design, typography and production skills.
How You’ll Be Successful
  • Knowledge of standard office software including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of correct English and business writing, including grammar, spelling, punctuation, and vocabulary. Read, write, and speak English fluently.
  • Skilled in concept development, graphic design, and production skills.
  • Skilled in using Adobe Creative Suite programs (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat)
  • Skilled in typography and proofreading.
  • Skilled in time management and organization to meet deadlines and stay within budget.
  • Ability to be creative, versatile, and innovative with strong implementation skills.
  • Ability to communicate, collaboration skills and accept and apply feedback.
  • Ability to create an innovative campaign that effectively delivers on desired results and brand messaging.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work with and maintain confidential information and materials.
