The Fitness Front Desk Associate is the first point of contact for members and guests. This role provides excellent customer service, manages check-ins, handles basic administrative tasks, and supports daily gym operations to create a welcoming and organized environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesGreet members and guests in a friendly, professional manner
Check members in and verify memberships
Answer phone calls, emails, and general inquiries
Schedule appointments, classes, or personal training sessions
Process membership sign-ups, payments, and cancellations
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk and lobby area
Enforce gym policies and safety procedures politely and consistently
Assist with retail sales (merchandise, supplements, etc.)
Communicate member concerns to management as needed
High school diploma or equivalent (required)
Previous customer service experience preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Basic computer skills and comfort with POS systems
Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
Friendly, reliable, and professional attitude
Interest in fitness, health, or wellness is a plus
Ability to stand for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs if needed
Flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
