EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent. Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language at a level sufficient to communicate effectively staff.

TRAINING & EXPERIENCE: Retail experience preferred. Must have a valid Florida Driver’s License.

JOB KNOWLEDGE: Customer service skills. Ability to interact professionally and maintain effective working relationships with superiors, co-workers, members, and guests. Ability to carry out verbal and written instructions. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Publisher, and Excel.

JOB SUMMARY: Assists with all general services in the Golf Pro Shop. Including but not limited to: maintaining a neat looking pro shop, tee time bookings, answering phones, checking in daily play and responding to members requests.

PHYSICAL ABILITIES: Lifting of boxes, fast pace work environment, computer skills and prolonged standing

1. Provides assistance for members and guests in the Pro Shop.
2. Facilitates all telephone traffic.
3. Books tee times.
4. Books lessons for professionals as needed.
5. Check-ins daily play.
6. Assists in all opening and closing duties of the shop.
7. Communicates with members, co-workers, management and the general public in a courteous and professional manner.
8. Conforms with and abides by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions.
9. Exhibits and maintains a professional demeanor to reflect a positive image of The Ponte Vedra Inn & Club.
10. Performs other duties as assigned by the First Assistant Golf Professional and Golf Shop Manager.
