Banquet Houseperson

What you will be doing:

- Setting up and tearing down banquet events

- safely transporting large tables and chairs

- ensuring banquet space is set up according to Banquet Event Order specifications

Detailed Job Responsibilities:

Communicate with supervisor throughout shift to be aware of the work.

Set up all meeting rooms to the specifications of the guest. This includes considerable physical activity in transporting awkward and heavy materials such as staging, tables, chairs, dancefloors, etc., from storage area to meeting rooms

Supply and replenish meeting rooms with clean glasses and fresh water.

Break down all meeting rooms where meetings have concluded and return to storage closet so the room will be available to be reset for the next function.

Maintain established cleaning schedule of meeting rooms and ballrooms so the rooms stay presentable at all times.

Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.

Perform any other job related duties as assigned.

For applicants who will be working in California, the anticipated compensation range for the position is $22.78 per hour. The salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include, but are not limited to years of experience within the job, years of experience within the required industry, education, work location, etc. Crescent Hotels is a multi-state employer and the salary ranges indicated herein may not reflect positions that work only in other states.
