BASIC FUNCTION: This position will be responsible for the coordination of the Facilities – Property Operations/Construction department and will be the dedicated support of the Director of Housing Development.
QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING, & WORK EXPERIENCE
Must have High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma (HSED).
Two years of college preferred.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license.
Must be a minimum of 21 years of age to work in the Casino in a non-sensitive area and sensitive area as needed.
Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and monitors own work to ensure quality.
Experience in the development and implementation of procedures and guidelines to support operational processes.
Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities.
Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
Must be proficient in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Must possess excellent communication skills.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Research and place orders for construction projects.
2. Order and research new equipment and project needs.
3. Assist with planning and contracting large jobs.
4. Process invoices and assist with payroll.
5. Assist with schedules and training as needed.
6. Must be organized and able to handle multiple projects and assist with prioritization of project needs.
7. Will coordinate closely during project activity and have keen attention to detail and accuracy in all delivered work products.
8. File and maintain all records and reports from inspections.
9. Assist in making runs to pick up materials and invoices for construction needs.
10. Keep files on projects. Build spreadsheets when needed.
11. Oversee the paperwork for new vendor set-ups and insurance certifications.
12. Track and schedule evaluations for construction associates.
13. Performs other duties as reasonably requested by Management.
