The opportunity

Delaware North is hiring a Intern to join our IT team in West Yellowstone, Montana.

Are you an undergraduate or graduate student seeking an internship in a fast-paced, inclusive environment with real-world learning opportunities? Delaware North internships are paid and can be completed for academic credit. Summer internship dates typically span 10-14 weeks between: May 2026 and August 2026. 

Student is responsible for travel to begin and end internship.  Housing is provided during the course of internship.

Pay

What will you do?

  • Provide technical support for all computer systems on the property, including configuration, installation, and maintenance of concessions point of sale systems and troubleshooting of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, Android OS, Windows OS, and network equipment.
  • Assist with day-to-day IT support requests and ticket resolution.
  • Set up and maintain PCs, laptops, printers, and other peripherals for end users, as well as terminating and running low voltage cables (Cat5e/Cat6).
  • Provide application support for point of sale systems and Global Payments.
  • Maintain digital signage throughout the property.
  • Help document systems, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting across hardware, software, and network layers.
  • Deploy, configure, and maintain end user devices and operational systems.
  • Navigate and support enterprise platforms.

More about you

  • Pursuing a Degree: Bachelor’s.
  • Area of Study: IT, CIS, MIS, Computer Science.
  • Familiarity with Windows OS and basic familiarity with the OSI model.
  • Strong communication, time management, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Understand how enterprise IT systems support real business operations in hospitality and retail environments.
  • Communicate effectively with technical teams and non-technical staff.

Physical requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and stand or walk for extended periods.
