We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Assistant Director of Sales to help lead our sales team. This position involves implementing strategic sales plans, supervising key accounts, and coordinating with the sales team to meet customer needs and achieve business objectives. Our ideal candidate is highly motivated, a strong communicator, and has proven experience in sales or a related field. Ultimately, the role of the Assistant Director of Sales is to improve sales performance, meet sales targets, and contribute to the company’s growth and profitability

What you'll be doing...

• Assist in developing and implementing strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals 
• Support the Director of Sales in the management and coordination of sales functions 
• Participate in market research and analysis to identify potential opportunities for company sales 
• Conduct presentations and negotiations with potential clients 
• Maintain a thorough understanding of the company’s products or services, industry trends, and competition 
• Provide reports on sales activities, effectiveness of the sales plan, and sales forecasting 
• Develop and maintain relationships with key clients and industry influencers 
• Train and mentor sales team members to improve their product knowledge and sales skills 
• Assist in the development of sales budgets and projections 
• Collaborate with marketing team to ensure brand consistency and increase sales

Requirements...

Experience & Education:

• 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in hotels or related field
• 4-year degree in hospitality management or sales preferred, or equivalent experience and education
• Proven sales experience, preferably in a leadership role 
• Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements 
• Proven ability to meet sales targets 
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills 
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create a results-driven, team-oriented environment 
• Experience with CRM software

Communication:

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including electronic communication
• Must be able to speak, read, and write in primary language used in the workplace

Physical:

• 8+ hours per day sitting desk/computer; stand and walk occasionally throughout workday
• Lift, lower, and maneuver up to 10 pounds occasionally
• Manual dexterity and repetitive motions required throughout workday
