Locker Room Attendant

We are seeking to fill a full-time position immediately and can expedite the hiring process for the ideal candidate. A successful completion of a criminal background check is required before a job offer can be extended.

Position Summary

The Men's Locker Room Attendant is responsible for delivering exceptional service and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and hospitality within the men's locker room facilities. This position plays a key role in enhancing the Member experience by ensuring all locker room amenities are maintained to the Club's elevated standards while providing attentive, personalized service to Members and guests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Welcome Members and guests in a friendly, professional, and courteous manner.
• Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and presentation of the men's locker room, restrooms, showers, steam room, sauna, and lounge areas.
• Provide towel service and ensure towels, toiletries, grooming products, and other amenities are fully stocked throughout the day.
• Clean and sanitize locker room facilities according to Club standards and health regulations.
• Assist Members with locker assignments, locker maintenance, garment hanging, shoe care, and other locker room services as appropriate.
• Collect, sort, and prepare towels and linens for laundering.
• Monitor locker room supplies and notifies management when replenishment is needed.
• Ensure lockers are secure, organized, and properly maintained.
• Respond promptly and professionally to Member requests and concerns.
• Maintain Member privacy and confidentiality at all times.
• Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, or equipment malfunctions to management.
• Assist with Club events, golf tournaments, and special functions as needed.
• Follow all Club policies, procedures, and service standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hospitality, country clubs, luxury hotels, fitness centers, spas, or a related service environment preferred.
• Strong customer service skills and a commitment to providing exceptional Member experience.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be fluent in English, knowledge of other languages, such as Spanish, is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and special events.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Work Environment

This position works within the men's locker room and related facilities of a private upscale Club. The successful candidate will consistently demonstrate professionalism, discretion, and a commitment to delivering first-class service to Members and guests.
