What We Offer
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Assistant General Manager to support the daily operations of our 150-room Holiday Inn Express Louisville Airport Expo Center. This leadership role is responsible for assisting the General Manager in delivering exceptional guest experiences, driving revenue performance, and maintaining brand standards.
The ideal candidate must have prior experience with IHG brand standards and be proficient in Oracle Hospitality OPERA PMS (Opera PMS).
Key Responsibilities
Assist the General Manager in overseeing all hotel operations including Front Office, Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Sales.
Ensure full compliance with IHG brand standards and guest satisfaction metrics.
Manage daily revenue strategies, inventory control, and labor costs.
Monitor and improve guest service scores and online reputation.
Train, mentor, and develop department heads and team members.
Handle guest concerns promptly and professionally.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Ensure compliance with safety, security, and local regulations.
Qualifications
Minimum 2–3 years of hotel management experience (AGM or equivalent leadership role preferred).
Experience with IHG-branded properties required.
Proficiency in Opera PMS is required.
Strong knowledge of hotel financials, revenue management, and cost controls.
Proven leadership and team-building skills.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays as needed.
