OUR ROLE
Reporting to the General Manager of the Wilde on 27, the Server Assistant is responsible for providing a clean and pleasant dining experience by clearing, sanitizing or resetting tables and ensuring that the restaurant is well stocked with necessary items such as silverware, plates, napkins, and cups of water glasses, while assisting servers with various food service duties.
Key accountabilities include:
Consistently deliver exceptional service to guests and fellow associates.
Quickly clean dirty table settings and prepare table for resetting. Promptly and consistently reset tables with spotless service ware.
Maintain stock and cleanliness of stations for all meal periods with necessary equipment including silverware, linen and condiments.
Greet guests in a pleasant and courteous manner, serve beverages, breads and butter to begin their dining experience and replenish as necessary.
Transport all dirty tableware from dining room to dishwashing area for proper cleaning.
Perform general cleaning tasks, using standard hotel cleaning products as assigned by supervisor to adhere to health standards.
Fold napkins for all meal periods throughout the day to maintain an adequate supply, restocking condiments, etc.
Perform other duties as requested, such as cleaning unexpected spills, tending to guest special requests and cross-training, to ensure total guest satisfaction.
Endeavor to work in a unified and collaborative way -- one that fosters teamwork.
Follow all safety and security policies and procedures, report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions.
YOUR STORY
Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment.
Someone with an outstanding work ethic, along with a track record of reliability, punctuality and an approachable demeanor, with a strong commitment to Safety.
Someone with excellent communication and customer service skills.
Able to work well under pressure, multitask and enjoys a fast-paced environment.
Someone with a positive attitude, eagerness to learn and prefers to work as part of a team.
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Physically able to stand and walk for extended periods of time and lift up to 25 lbs.
