We are seeking a highly motivated, tough-skinned, and results-driven Revenue Manager to join our corporate team and oversee a diverse portfolio of four properties, including a mix of limited-service hotels, resorts, and upscale 4-star properties. This role requires a strategic leader with strong analytical skills, a self-starter mentality, and a proven ability to drive revenue performance across various market segments.
The ideal candidate will work from our corporate office and collaborate closely with property General Managers, Sales, and Marketing teams to develop and execute pricing strategies, demand forecasting, inventory control, and business mix optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
Portfolio Revenue Management:
Manage and optimize revenue strategies for four hotels with diverse positioning (limited-service, resort, and 4-star).
Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly performance metrics across all properties.
Strategy Development & Execution:
Create and implement short- and long-term pricing strategies that drive RevPAR, occupancy, and overall revenue growth.
Analyze market trends, booking pace, competitive performance, and historical data to make informed decisions.
Forecasting & Budgeting:
Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process for all properties.
Prepare and present accurate demand forecasts and pacing reports to corporate leadership.
Distribution Channel Management:
Optimize distribution strategies, ensuring rate parity and channel profitability.
Oversee GDS, OTA, brand.com, and third-party sites to maximize reach and conversion.
Collaboration & Communication:
Serve as a key point of contact between corporate leadership and on-site hotel teams.
Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to align strategies and maximize revenue opportunities.
Provide guidance and training on revenue management best practices to hotel staff.
Competitive Analysis:
Regularly conduct competitive set analyses using tools such as STR, Rate Shopper, and Demand360.
Identify opportunities to outperform competitors and adjust strategies accordingly.
System Oversight:
Maintain and update revenue systems (PMS, CRS, RMS, Channel Manager).
Ensure data accuracy and consistency across platforms.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of revenue management experience in the hospitality industry.
Required experience managing revenue for a mix of hotel types including limited-service, resort, and 4-star properties.
Multi-property or portfolio experience strongly preferred.
Proven track record of success in achieving or exceeding revenue targets.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
Self-motivated, tenacious, and capable of working independently.
Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
Tough-skinned with the ability to handle pressure and make data-driven decisions in a fast-paced environment.
High proficiency in Excel and experience with revenue management software (e.g., IDeaS, Duetto, SynXis, etc.).
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Finance, Business, or related field required.
Revenue management certifications a plus.
