Are you a results-driven hospitality sales leader who thrives on building relationships and driving revenue? The Four Points by Sheraton Seattle Airport South is seeking a dynamic Director of Sales to lead the property’s sales strategy and deliver exceptional revenue performance in one of the Pacific Northwest’s most active airport markets.
This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic and hands-on sales professional who understands the airport, corporate, and group segments and can drive market share in a competitive environment.
Position Overview
The Director of Sales will be responsible for the overall development and execution of the hotel’s sales strategy, focusing on growing room revenue, maximizing market share, and building strong relationships with corporate, group, and travel partners. This leader will work closely with hotel operations and revenue management to ensure alignment with the property’s financial goals.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement the annual Sales & Marketing Plan to achieve revenue and occupancy targets.
Identify and aggressively pursue corporate, group, airline, and airport-related business opportunities.
Conduct outside sales calls, client presentations, and networking to grow market presence.
Maintain and grow relationships with key corporate accounts, travel managers, and meeting planners.
Analyze STR reports and market trends to develop strategies that increase RevPAR index and market share.
Collaborate with revenue management to optimize pricing and inventory strategies.
Lead group sales efforts including prospecting, negotiating contracts, and overseeing group execution.
Represent the hotel at industry events, trade shows, and community networking functions.
Catering and Event Servicing experience is a must.
Manage the sales budget and ensure revenue forecasts are accurate and actionable.
Qualifications
3+ years of hotel sales leadership experience, preferably as a Director of Sales or Senior Sales Manager.
Experience with Marriott systems and brand standards strongly preferred.
Proven ability to generate corporate and group business in competitive markets.
Strong knowledge of airport and transient-driven hotel markets.
Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
Experience analyzing STR reports, revenue strategies, and market segmentation.
Highly organized, self-motivated, and results-driven.
