Located steps from embassies, corporate offices, and major attractions, our hotel attracts a mix of corporate travelers, government business, leisure, and small groups. As Sales Manager, you will play a key role in identifying new opportunities, developing client relationships, and delivering results that exceed revenue goals.
Key Responsibilities
Proactively solicit corporate, government, SMERF, and association accounts through outside sales calls, networking, and prospecting.
Manage and grow an assigned portfolio of key accounts to maximize room and group revenue.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the Washington, DC market.
Respond to RFPs and manage the sales process from prospecting through contract execution.
Conduct site tours and represent the hotel at networking and industry events.
Work closely with revenue management and operations teams to optimize pricing, availability, and client satisfaction.
Maintain accurate sales activity and account management in the CRM system.
Achieve individual and team sales goals for deployed segments
Qualifications
2+ years of hotel sales experience (Marriott brand experience preferred).
Experience selling corporate negotiated rates, SMERF, or small group business.
Strong prospecting and relationship-building skills.
Knowledge of the Washington, DC corporate and government market is highly desirable.
Proficiency with sales systems such as CI/TY, Delphi, or similar platforms.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset.

Salary: $70,000 – $80,000 annually
