Compensation: $20.00 to $22.00 per hour, Full-Time

The opportunity

Delaware North Parks & Resorts is hiring a Marketing Intern to join our team at our Global Headquarters in Buffalo, New York. Delaware North internships are paid and can be completed for academic credit. Summer internship dates typically span 10-14 weeks between May and August.  This is a great opportunity to gain valuable work experience and make an impact in a global company.

Pay

$20.00 – $22.00 / hour

What will you do?

  • Assist the manager with special projects related to social media management, creative requests, and hotel operations training.
  • Create dynamic new media content to enhance guest experiences and develop business relations.
  • Assist with the promotion of all assigned locations.
  • Maintain open communication with clients, guests, media, and vendors.
  • Manage assigned marketing channels.
  • Prepare various operational reports; keep records pertaining to analytics of social media accounts.

More about you

  • Working toward or having a bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or PR is preferred.
  • Previous experience with social media site management on a non-personal level preferred.
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office required;  design and editing software such as Adobe Creative Suite preferred.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.
