The opportunity

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is searching for a Maintenance Manager to join our team at the Courtyard at Kennedy in Titusville, Florida. As a Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for the operation of building maintenance and facility services while effectively managing team members.

Pay

Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $56,900 – $76,800 / year

In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. Only in special circumstances, where a candidate has education, training, or experience that far exceeds the requirements for the position, would we consider paying higher than the stated range. What will you do?

  • Oversee the operation of all electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, services, and equipment
  • Perform carpentry, painting, and other maintenance needs
  • Train team members on department policies and procedures to ensure a safe, effective work environment
  • Ensure all paperwork, work orders, reports, and logs are completed and maintained
  • Participate in fire prevention and other safety programs
  • May occasionally need to drive to complete tasks

More about you

  • 2 – 3 years of experience managing a team required
  • 5 years working in a maintenance and engineering role required, preferably in a hotel/lodging
  • Basic knowledge of fire safety, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing
  • Must have a general knowledge of the use of tools and equipment used in building trades
  • A valid driver’s license is required

Physical requirements

  • Manual dexterity sufficient to use hand tools and paint
  • Ability to stand, crouch, and climb ladders to perform repairs
  • Ability to lift to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Exposure to outdoor weather conditions in all seasons
