The opportunity

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring a seasonal Maintenance Technician to join our team at Lake Erie Canopy Tours in Geneva, Ohio. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for completing plumbing, electrical, preventative maintenance, snow removal, and truck maintenance tasks.

Pay

$13.00 – $16.00 / hour

What will you do?

  • Perform regular maintenance and minor repairs on golf carts, e‑bikes, standard bicycles, scooters, and canopy equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation
  • Assist in diagnosing minor mechanical issues and recommend solutions for repair under supervision or guidelines.
  • Assist in documenting maintenance activities and reporting any issues or unusual findings to a supervisor or team lead.
  • Perform routine inspections on all equipment.

More about you

  • No high school diploma or GED required
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Capable of understanding electrical schematics and equipment service manuals
  • Must have basic automotive or mechanical knowledge and the ability to perform general maintenance and troubleshooting

Physical requirements

  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment such as dust masks, respirators,gloves and goggles
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
