About the Role: As Director of Sales you will partner with our exceptional Operations TEAM to achieve and exceed sales goals for our property.

We’re not your typical hotel—and we’re not looking for a typical sales leader.

Located in the heart of one of the city’s most vibrant and walkable neighborhoods, our independent lifestyle all-suite hotel blends residential comfort with local energy. Surrounded by standout dining, culture, sports, and entertainment, we cater to modern travelers seeking connection, convenience, and an authentic sense of place.

We’re looking for a self-starter, relationship-driven Director of Sales who thrives on building community, driving revenue, and telling our story in a way that resonates.

Responsibilities: Represent the hotel's services and facilities to prospective clients and customers in the hotel’s continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Prepare and send contracts. Create group blocks and rooming lists

You will develop and send proposals. You will also engage in community outreach, cold calling and bringing brand awareness to the market.

You will generate room revenue through the execution of strategic planning and performance to achieve/exceed individual revenue goals within assigned market segments.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive top-line revenue through strategic sales initiatives across long-term stays, corporate, social, sports, and leisure segments
  • Build and maintain meaningful relationships with local businesses, organizations, and community partners
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities through proactive outreach and networking
  • Leverage social media and modern sales tools to position the hotel as a go-to destination
  • Collaborate with marketing and operations to create compelling packages, promotions, and partnerships
  • Represent the hotel at local events, industry functions, and within the community
  • Analyze market trends and performance data to adjust strategies and maximize results

  • A self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for independent, lifestyle hospitality
  • Strong understanding of extended stay, corporate, and group segments
  • Proven ability to generate revenue through creative, non-traditional sales approaches
  • Local market knowledge and community ties are a strong plus

Requirements:

  • Proven 2+ years of Sales experience within a hotel
  • Four-year college degree from an accredited institution desired
  • Solid computer skills and knowledge of various discipline-focused computer programs, including strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Experience with HotelKey or PEP Knowledge is preferred
  • Manage administrative functions for the Sales Department
  • Able to work as a team member in a competitive environment
  • Manages a group and interpersonal conflict situations effectively
  • Follow all company Sales/Catering SOP standards
