Summary
Responsible for all daily operation of Spa, Spa Front Desk and Spa Retail and Fitness Center when scheduled at Spa.
Promotes and sells hotel merchandise to guests when scheduled at Cabana Shop.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities in Spa
- Daily set up of Spa including treatment rooms, locker rooms, Fitness Center and lounge.
- Greet all guests promptly and in a courteous manner.
- Provide guests with Spa information and retail product lines.
- Scheduling spa appointments and selling additional services and products.
- Handle all communications courteously, providing accurate information.
- Respond promptly to all emails.
- Check-in & out Spa guests accordingly to their itinerary.
- Collect payments for services and retail products and post all charges following accounting procedures.
- Inform Spa Leadership, and fellow team members of any problems or questions.
- Attend training seminars, department meetings, and product knowledge when needed.
- Complete necessary requisition forms for items regularly needed from store room.
- Keep Spa well organized, and arrange retail merchandise and back-stock easy to find.
- Maintain in-store and hotel display cases with visual displays. Displays always need to be fresh, clean and organized.
- Assist therapists when needed.
- General knowledge or resort and other departments.
- Inform Spa Leadership when supplies when needed from outside vendors.
- Before closing call guests and therapist to confirm appointments.
- Run closing reports and balance bank at end of shift.
- Daily closing of Spa including treatment rooms, locker rooms, and lounge.
- Ensure locker rooms, lounge is well maintained and stocked throughout the day.
- Maintain locker room, spa lounge and fitness center areas in a clean and organized manner. Pick up after guests when needed.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities in Cabana Shop
- Displays merchandise and restocks sold items.
- Picks up boxes from Receiving Department when necessary.
- Unpacks and prices all merchandise with accuracy in a timely manner.
- Meets attendance requirements.
- Knowledge of products sold and where they are stocked.
- Processes cash, credit card and room charges accurately and efficiently.
- Maintains cleanliness of store, outside display cases and fitting room, this includes vacuuming, dusting, cleaning glass shelves, and wiping up spills and debris when necessary.
- Fill out departmental transfer forms and pick up items from the store room when necessary.
- Restocks all needed areas of the store and continually organizes merchandise
- Greets all guests as specified in the Trump International Beach Resort and Forbes Standards protocols.
- Must be able to complete all aspects of the job on a regular basis.
- Notifies Shop Leadership promptly of all problems and/or unusual matters.
- Attends all appropriate hotel meetings and training sessions, including responsible vendor new hire class and quarterly update meetings.
- Team member demeaner is polite, friendly, and helpful to all guests, management and fellow employees.
- Maintains cleanliness and condition of equipment including computer, desk, and work area.
- Complies with all hotel standards, policies and rules including Forbes Standards.
- Remains current with hotel information and changes.
- Complies with hotel uniform and grooming standards.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Run closing reports and closing register accordingly. Responsible for even cash register.

- Required 1+ years Reception/Front desk experience (Medical, Spa, Restaurant, Retail)
- Excellent communication skills

- Must read, write and speak the English language fluently
- Knowledge of Spanish helpful

- Strong Microsoft Office skills with emphasis on Excel. Book 4 Time experience a plus.
