Night Auditor (Weekends)

Marin Hilltop Hotel is undergoing an exciting transformation into a Tribute Portfolio Marriott Hotel — part of Marriott’s collection of upper-upscale, design-forward boutique hotels. With renovations already underway and a grand relaunch scheduled for January 2026, the hotel is being reimagined to reflect the vibrant and sophisticated spirit of Marin County.

As we move through this exciting chapter, we are looking for a passionate and service-driven Night Auditor to support the Front Office operations during the transition and beyond. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a leadership support role, has a strong understanding of front desk procedures, and is eager to contribute to a renewed guest experience.

As a Night Auditor, you’ll be the calm and confident presence overnight—balancing the books, supporting guests, and setting the tone for a flawless day ahead.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome and assist guests with late-night arrivals and early check-outs.
• Verify reservations, guest identification, and forms of payment.
• Process all transactions, including cash, credit cards, and checks.
• Complete nightly audit reports and ensure all financial postings are balanced.
• Prepare and deliver guest folios prior to morning check-out.
• Monitor property security and assist guests with any overnight needs.
• Maintain accurate shift logs and communicate key details to the day team.
• Support the Front Office with administrative and operational tasks.

Qualifications:

Required:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Detail-oriented, dependable, and strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred:

• Previous Night Auditor or front desk experience in a hotel setting.
• Familiarity with Marriott systems and Microsoft Office.
• TIPS alcohol certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).
