The opportunity

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is seeking an experienced Seasonal Food and Beverage Manager to join our team at Big Meadows Lodge in Shenandoah National Park, Virginia. This role is ideal for a hands‑on hospitality leader who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, excels at heavy floor management, and is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences. As a Food and Beverage Manager, you will lead by example on the floor, driving outstanding customer service while fostering positive employee relations through coaching, engagement, and collaboration. Pay

Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $46,100 – $62,200 / year

What will you do?

  • Administration of all restaurant, kitchen, and bar-related functions to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Hire, train, and manage an effective team, providing feedback on their job responsibilities and alignment to Delaware North programs
  • Maintain standards and accountability of staff
  • Enusre compliance with all health and safety and santiation standards

More about you

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of supervisory experience in a high-volume restaurant and/or catering environment, supervising service personnel
  • Experience in effectively leading a team is required
  • Ability to communicate through oral and written skills with staff, creating a positive work environment
  • Proficient computer skills, including Word and Excel
  • No degree required
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
