Position Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Banquet Houseperson to support the successful execution of events. This role is essential in ensuring event spaces are properly set up, maintained, and broken down according to client expectations and organizational standards. The ideal candidate is proactive, physically capable, and committed to delivering excellent service.

Key Responsibilities:

· Set up and break down event spaces according to Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and room diagrams

· Arrange tables, chairs, linens, and skirting to meet event specifications

· Transport, lift, and position equipment including tables and chairs (up to 50 lbs)

· Assist with basic audiovisual setup, including TVs, HDMI connections, extension cords, power strips, screens, and projectors

· Ensure event spaces are clean, organized, and ready for use

· Communicate professionally with event hosts, team members, and other departments

· Respond promptly to event needs and last-minute changes

· Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall event operations

Qualifications:

· Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly

· Strong attention to detail and ability to follow diagrams and written instructions (BEOs)

· Basic knowledge of audiovisual equipment setup

· Excellent communication and customer service skills

· Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred

· Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

· Team-oriented with a willingness to assist beyond core responsibilities
