Job Title: Laundry Attendant

Job Summary:
The Laundry Attendant is responsible for cleaning, drying, folding, and organizing linens, clothing, and other textiles. This role ensures items are handled efficiently, safely, and according to cleanliness and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sort laundry by color, fabric type, and level of soiling
• Operate washing machines, dryers, and other laundry equipment
• Use appropriate detergents, softeners, and cleaning solutions
• Inspect items for damage or stains and apply pre-treatment when necessary
• Fold, press, and package clean laundry neatly
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area
• Monitor equipment performance and report any issues
• Follow safety and hygiene guidelines at all times
• Manage laundry inventory, including linens and supplies

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous laundry or housekeeping experience is a plus
• Ability to operate laundry equipment and follow instructions
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Physical stamina to stand, lift, and move items for extended periods

Work Environment:

• Fast-paced environment with exposure to heat, humidity, and cleaning chemicals
• Requires standing, bending, and lifting up to 25–50 pounds
