Compensation: $15.00 to $16.00 per hour, Full-Time

About the Role:

As an Engineer 2, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and implementing engineering solutions that meet project requirements and company standards. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of technical projects, contributing your expertise to improve product performance and reliability. This position requires a strong analytical mindset to troubleshoot complex issues and optimize existing systems. You will be responsible for documenting your work thoroughly and communicating progress effectively to stakeholders. Ultimately, your contributions will drive innovation and efficiency within the engineering team, supporting the company’s strategic goals.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • 2+ years of professional engineering experience in a relevant industry.
  • Proficiency in core engineering principles and practices applicable to the role.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with specific tools or technologies relevant to the company’s products (e.g., CAD software, programming languages, simulation tools).
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  • Experience working in a cross-functional team environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, and test engineering solutions in accordance with project specifications and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with product managers and other engineers to define technical requirements and deliverables.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot technical problems, providing timely and effective solutions.
  • Prepare detailed documentation including design specifications, test plans, and progress reports.
  • Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and team meetings to ensure quality and alignment with project goals.
  • Continuously improve engineering processes and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.

The required skills enable you to implement effective engineering solutions by applying fundamental principles and best practices. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are essential for diagnosing issues and optimizing system performance. Communication skills are used daily to document your work clearly and collaborate with team members and stakeholders. Preferred skills, such as familiarity with Agile methodologies and specialized tools, enhance your ability to contribute efficiently to iterative development cycles and complex projects.
