Inn At The Peachtrees, part of the Ascend Hotel Collection by Choice Hotels, is undergoing an exciting transformation in the heart of downtown Atlanta. The property is currently being reimagined through a comprehensive renovation inspired by a boutique “Secret Garden” concept designed to create a whimsical, elegant, and immersive guest experience. The redesigned hotel will feature sophisticated guestrooms, curated design elements, and an inviting courtyard atmosphere that blends luxury, comfort, and creativity.

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Sales to lead all revenue-generating efforts and position the hotel as one of Atlanta’s premier boutique hospitality destinations during this exciting growth phase.

Property Transformation & Guest Experience

As part of the hotel’s ongoing renovation, Inn At The Peachtrees is introducing a fresh boutique design aesthetic centered around “The Secret Garden” concept. The vision combines playful sophistication with tranquil luxury, creating an atmosphere that feels both immersive and relaxing.

The redesigned guestrooms will feature:
• Elegant custom headboard wall designs with botanical-inspired detailing
• Warm natural tones complemented by rich textures and upscale finishes
• Enhanced working wall layouts with integrated technology and functional workspace design
• Boutique-style vanities, upgraded lighting, and modern wall sconces
• Stylish lounge seating, premium materials, and thoughtfully curated décor
• Flexible closet configurations designed for both comfort and functionality

The renovation is designed to elevate the guest experience and position the hotel competitively within Atlanta’s growing boutique hotel market.

Position Summary

The Director of Sales is responsible for developing and executing the hotel’s overall sales strategy to maximize occupancy, ADR, revenue growth, and market share. This leadership role oversees all sales initiatives for corporate, group, government, and leisure business while building strategic partnerships throughout the Atlanta market.

The ideal candidate is an experienced hospitality sales leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is excited by the opportunity to lead sales efforts for a newly repositioned boutique hotel.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive sales and revenue strategies to achieve hotel performance goals
• Lead all proactive sales efforts for corporate, group, government, and leisure market segments
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, travel partners, and local organizations
• Identify new business opportunities and drive market penetration within the Atlanta area
• Conduct property tours, presentations, and client meetings to showcase the hotel’s renovated boutique experience
• Oversee account management, contract negotiations, and rate strategies
• Collaborate closely with hotel operations and revenue management teams to maximize profitability and guest satisfaction
• Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and business performance metrics
• Prepare forecasts, budgets, sales reports, and action plans for ownership and leadership
• Represent the hotel at industry events, networking functions, and community engagements
• Lead, motivate, and mentor the sales team while fostering a high-performance culture

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of hotel sales leadership experience required
• Previous Director of Sales or senior hotel sales management experience preferred
• Strong understanding of revenue management and hotel sales strategy
• Boutique or lifestyle hotel experience preferred
• Experience with Choice Hotels systems and brand standards is a plus
• Proven track record of achieving revenue and occupancy goals
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Strong analytical and organizational abilities
• Knowledge of the Atlanta hospitality market preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel sales/CRM systems
