Seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Lobby/Houseman Attendant to support housekeeping and public area operations for our 169 guestrooms hotel with 10, 300 Sq Ft meeting space, and a full-service restaurant.
Compensation: $16.25 per hour, Full-Time
Flexible shifts, Must have nights, holidays, and weekend availability

This position plays an important role in maintaining cleanliness, appearance, and overall guest experience throughout the hotel. The ideal candidate is organized, efficient, and committed to providing excellent hospitality service.

What you will be doing

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain cleanliness and presentation of lobby, hallways, public areas, and guest facilities
  • Assist housekeeping staff with linen delivery, trash removal, and supply restocking
  • Ensure public restrooms and common areas remain clean and fully stocked
  • Respond promptly to guest and staff requests in a professional manner
  • Set up and move furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed
  • Vacuum, mop, dust, and sanitize assigned areas according to hotel standards
  • Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, or damaged property to management
  • Support housekeeping operations during busy periods and special events
  • Follow hotel safety, sanitation, and brand service standards

Requirements: Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees must be flexible and able to work varied schedules based on operational needs.

Qualifications

  • Previous housekeeping, janitorial, or hotel experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to lift, push, or carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic

Skills

  • Must have flexibility with scheduling due to business levels and industry demand, with availability to work on weekends, night shifts, and holidays. 
  • Knowledge of custodial practices and floor care techniques a plus
  • Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and supplies
  • Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Physical Requirements

  • Requires frequent bending, reaching overhead and squatting 
  • Must have ability to stoop, twist, and bend with frequency
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, carry up to 50 pounds
