Delaware North internships are paid and can be completed for academic credit. Summer internship dates typically span 10-14 weeks. 

Pay

$25.00 – $35.00 / hour

What will you do?

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines that support analytics, reporting, and machine learning initiatives 
  • Develop and deploy machine learning models for forecasting, optimization, and business decision making 
  • Apply AI techniques, including generative AI and automation tools, to improve workflows and accelerate insights delivery 
  • Partner with food and beverage, operations, and finance stakeholders to identify high-value opportunities for data-driven solutions 
  • Transform raw operational data into actionable insights through dashboards, reporting, and advanced analytics 
  • Ensure data quality, governance, accessibility, and source of truth datasets across systems for enterprise decision making 
  • Prepare, cleanse, standardize, enrich, and model large-scale datasets while optimizing SQL views, data models, and query performance for scalable access 

More about you

  • Background in data science, computer science, statistics, engineering, or a related field  
  • Strong experience in data engineering, including ETL processes, data modeling, and pipeline development, with proficiency in programming languages such as Python and SQL  
  • Experience with machine learning frameworks and model development lifecycle  
  • Familiarity with AI technologies, including large language models, automation tools, or applied AI systems  
  • Familiarity with MLOps, deployment workflows, and production-grade AI systems  
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms, data warehouses, and modern analytics tools  
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
