Delaware North is hiring a full-time Senior Accounting Manager, Global Business Services to join our team at our global headquarters in Buffalo, New York. Pay

Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $110,600 – $139,300 / year

In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. What will you do?

  • Manage the full accounts payable cycle, including invoice receipt, coding, approval workflows, and payment processing 
  • Process invoices and payments accurately and on time in alignment with company policies and contractual terms 
  • Maintain strong internal controls to support compliance with company policy, GAAP, regulatory requirements, and fraud prevention standards 
  • Create and maintain accounts payable policies and procedures while identifying opportunities for process improvements and automation 
  • Monitor vendor relationships by addressing inquiries, resolving disputes, maintaining records, and evaluating third-party provider performance 
  • Lead team development by coaching team members and fostering a collaborative, customer-focused accounts payable function 
  • Produce accounts payable metrics and reporting while supporting month-end close activities and audit requests with accurate documentation 

More about you

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field 
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounts payable experience or related financial operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role preferred or equivalent transactional experience
  • Experience with Peoplesoft (Oracle), Blackline, BirchStreet, Workday, and NetSuite strongly preferred 
  • Strong understanding of accounts payable processes, controls, and regulatory requirements 
  • Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with automation tools such as OCR and workflow systems 
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for vendor and cross-functional interactions
