This role is for someone who loves to tinker, troubleshoot, and make things work. As a Slot Technician, you’ll keep our slot machines running smoothly, learn the ins and outs of gaming tech, and grow your skills in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. You’ll earn trust, gain experience, and play a key role in keeping the fun alive for every Guest.

What You’ll Do

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain slot machines and equipment to keep the floor ready for play.
  • Track maintenance and repair history and suggest improvements that keep our games in top shape.
  • Maintain stock and parts inventory to minimize downtime.
  • Review technical manuals and stay current with vendor updates and compliance standards.
  • Specialize in equipment areas like bill acceptors, monitors, or system boards as your skills grow.
  • Support teammates and collaborate across departments to keep operations smooth.
  • Provide outstanding Guest service with every interaction—smile, greet, and engage.
  • Follow all gaming regulations, policies, and internal controls.
  • Report unusual activity or Guest disputes to leadership immediately.
  • Show up on time, ready to work, with professionalism and pride.

What You Bring

  • High school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience).
  • Two (2) years of slot experience or a combination of two (2) years of advanced electronics education and experience preferred.
  • Basic computer skills; proficiency with Microsoft applications.
  • Must be able to secure a Gaming License from the Gaming Regulatory Authority (GRA).
  • Mille Lacs Band Member and American Indian preference will be exercised in the hiring process.
