Danville Hotel Collection is seeking dependable, detail-oriented Room Attendants to help create clean, comfortable, and welcoming stays for our guests.
Room Attendants are responsible for cleaning and preparing guest rooms, bathrooms, and assigned hotel areas according to property standards. This position may support The Bee Hotel, The Holbrook Hotel, and The Laurel Hotel based on operational needs.
ResponsibilitiesClean and prepare guest rooms according to hotel standards.
Make beds according to outlined standards and replace linens and towels.
Clean and sanitize bathrooms, showers, sinks, toilets, and fixtures.
Dust furniture, clean surfaces, vacuum carpets, and mop floors.
Empty trash and restock toiletries, coffee supplies, and guest amenities.
Inspect rooms for cleanliness, damage, missing items, and maintenance concerns.
Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, and lost-and-found items promptly.
Respect guest privacy and follow “Do Not Disturb” procedures.
Maintain organized housekeeping carts, closets, and supply areas.
Assist with public-area cleaning, laundry, linen delivery, and other housekeeping duties as needed.
Support other Danville Hotel Collection properties and departments when business needs require assistance.
Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is preferred but not required.
Strong attention to detail and pride in producing quality work.
Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
Positive attitude and willingness to help the team.
Ability to communicate professionally with guests and coworkers.
Ability to pass a background check.
Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
Reliable transportation to and from work, and between hotel properties.
This position requires standing, walking, bending, reaching, kneeling, pushing, pulling, and repetitive movement for the entire shift. Candidates must be able to push a housekeeping cart, use cleaning equipment, and lift or carry up to 50 pounds.
ScheduleHotel housekeeping operates seven days a week. Shift times may vary based on occupancy, guest departures, and operational needs.
