What You'll Do

As Banquet Manager, you'll oversee the daily operation of banquet and event services while ensuring every event exceeds guest expectations. This is a highly visible leadership role that requires strong organization, attention to detail, and a passion for service excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead all banquet operations from event setup through breakdown
• Supervise, schedule, coach, and motivate banquet staff
• Execute events according to Banquet Event Orders (BEOs)
• Partner with Sales, Catering, Culinary, and Hotel Operations to ensure flawless event execution
• Ensure banquet rooms are properly prepared, maintained, and guest-ready
• Maintain exceptional service standards throughout every event
• Monitor staffing levels and labor costs
• Manage banquet equipment, inventory, and supplies
• Address guest requests and resolve concerns professionally
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and compliance with company standards
• Jump in wherever needed to support the team and ensure successful events

What We're Looking For

We're searching for a hospitality professional who enjoys leading by example and creating memorable guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Banquet Manager, Banquet Captain, Event Manager, Catering Manager, or similar hospitality leadership role
• Hotel, resort, conference center, or upscale event venue experience preferred
• Strong leadership and team-building skills
• Excellent communication and guest service abilities
• Outstanding organizational and multitasking skills
• Ability to manage multiple events simultaneously
• Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift banquet equipment as needed
