Maintenance Supervisor

A Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing maintenance operations, ensuring equipment, facilities, and systems are maintained safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively.

• Supervise and coordinate maintenance technicians and contractors.
• Plan, schedule, and assign preventive and corrective maintenance work.
• Ensure machinery, equipment, and facilities operate reliably.
• Monitor maintenance crews, inventory, and spare parts.
• Enforce safety regulations, policies, and compliance requirements.
• Troubleshoot complex maintenance issues and support repairs.
• Maintain maintenance records, work orders, and reports.
• Train, coach, and evaluate maintenance staff.
• Coordinate with operations and other departments to minimize downtime.

• Technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and facility systems.

• Planning, scheduling, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of safety standards and regulatory compliance.
• Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) experience.

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
• Several years of maintenance experience, including supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance practices.
